Water being an inevitable resource of life on Earth, indispensable to the survival of all living organisms. It sustains ecosystems, supports human health, and is essential for hydration, agriculture, sanitation, and industrial activities. As a critical natural resource, water underpins both environmental balance and societal development." The theme for this year was “Glacier Preservation,” as the Glaciers play a critical role in the generation of freshwater resources. As climate change threatens these vital resources, raisingawareness on preservation of Glaciershas become imperative across the Globe, especially among the educated youth.
To propagate the significance of water among the students, the Nature Club – Adhira organized an art competition on the occasion of World Water Day on March 24, 2025. The competition encouraged students to express their creativity while conveying powerful messages about the importance of protecting our water sources and the environment. Through their artworks, participants aimed to inspire their peers and foster a sense of responsibility towards sustainability. The institution, through such discussions and platforms seeks to ensure that future generations understand the significance of water conservation and gets motivated to preserve the precious water resources on the planet to safe guard the future generations.
