International Women's Day is a powerful reminder of the ongoing struggle for gender equality and the rights of women worldwide. Marking 2026 as the 115th year of relentless global advocacy, this day reinforces the requirement of recognizing achievements of women, address gender disparities and promote a more inclusive society. The significance lies in honouring women by amplifying the call for rights, justice and action, as articulated by the theme of the United Nations for 2026: "Rights. Justice. Action. For all women and girls."
To signify the critical contributions of women within the institution, Women's Club Anvitha organised a recognition event titled "Celebrating the women behind the institution development" on 08th March 2026. This event acknowledged the invaluable dedication and service of women faculty members, administrative staff and other women contributors whose work forms the backbone of the institution. The ceremony highlighted how women across various roles, from teaching and mentorship to administrative excellence and support services, drive institutional success. The theme also emphasises that justice and rights are fundamental, but without active engagement, coordination and action, progress remains incomplete.
