An induction program is a process that acquaints students with the core values, practices and culture of the institution. It serves as a bridge connecting students to their new academic environment, easing their transition from campus life to professional maturity. The induction program 'Alaap,' the formal induction ceremony on 31st October celebrates the commencement of fresher's educational adventure, welcoming MBA and MCA students to the institution's nurturing environment, which was preceded by the week-long 'Aarambh' orientation program, which familiarised freshers with institutional ethos, practices and life-skills training, Industry Experts, Visits to Local Places, Cultural and Literary Competitions, dedicated faculty, the institution's philosophy, and available facilities.
The Aarambh orientation at Aurora was a vibrant gateway for the freshly enrolled MBA and MCA students, immersing them in a spectrum of enriching activities designed to nurture their holistic development. This preliminary phase was distinguished by yoga and physical fitness sessions aimed at promoting wellness and mindfulness, combined with educational excursions to local landmarks, which provided contextual learning beyond the classroom. Literary and cultural competitions were at the heart of Aarambh, offering students platforms to showcase their talents in singing, dancing, debating, essay writing, quizzes, and jigsaw puzzles. These engagements not only revealed the students' diverse capabilities but also fostered camaraderie and confidence, essential for their academic and personal growth.
Building upon this foundation, the Alaap induction ceremony marked a celebratory culmination where talent was recognised and prized. Winners of the various contests during Aarambh were felicitated with certificates, medals, and prizes, underscoring the institution's commitment to encouraging excellence. The Appreciation Awards for Prior Learning were also presented, honouring graduates and ICET toppers who demonstrated exceptional aptitude and knowledge gained through prior academic and experiential learning, reinforcing a culture of meritocracy and lifelong achievement.

This was followed by the evocative recitation of the revered Thotakashtakam, composed by Thotakarcharya, disciple of Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya, a hymn that poetically encapsulates the sacred bond between teacher and student.
