Goal setting is a fundamental practice that drives success and personal growth, especially for MBA students preparing to enter competitive business environments. It provides clarity, motivation and a roadmap for achieving both short-term and long-term objectives. To set this tone, the Training and Placement Cell organised an insightful workshop on goal setting for MBA students on 15th April 2026 led by Mr Lavanya Kumar, Director of Smart Steps.
The speaker emphasised the importance of defining clear, measurable and achievable goals through practical examples and interactive discussions. Students learned how to chart a roadmap for their career, aligning their personal ambitions with professional aspirations, enhancing their focus and productivity.
The Training and Placement Cell provided MBA students with both the mindset and technical skills necessary for success. Such initiatives bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, boosting the confidence of the students and their employability in the dynamic business landscape. Approximately 200 students participated in the workshop, gaining valuable insights into an effective planning post-MBA and developing clear career strategies to successfully navigate their professional futures.
