Independence Day is a significant day that commemorates a country's freedom from colonial rule or oppression and honours the sacrifices and struggles of freedom fighters who fought bravely for sovereignty and justice.On this momentous occasion of Independence Day, Cultural Club Aroop orchestrated to honour the enduring spirit of freedom and pay homage to the courageous freedom fighters whose sacrifices have shaped our nation’s destiny. This gathering united students and faculty in a shared reflection on the bravery, determination, and unwavering dedication of those who selflessly fought for India’s independence.
The event began with the Director, Dr M. Madhavi,hoisting the national flag, followed by the soulful rendition of the national anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotism and unity. The audience were then transported through time as students showcased a series of powerful performances, portraying the struggles and sacrifices of iconic leaders such as Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai, Chandra Shekhar Azad and Sarojini Naidu. Through stirring speeches, dramatic enactments and songs, the courage and resilience of these heroes were brought to life.Faculty members actively participated, offering insights on the importance of remembering history and instilling a sense of responsibility in the youth. They highlighted how the legacy of our freedom fighters serves as a beacon, guiding all generations toward a prosperous and united India.The event resulted in a solemn pledge to uphold the ideals of freedom, equality, and justice and accentuated the flame of patriotism brightly in every heartto elevate our nation’s pride on the world stage.
