Projects are an important component of experiential learning and promote critical thinking and problem-solving abilities of the students. The Management club- Anushasan, organised an orientation program on project management by inviting Mr. P. Sudheer Kumar, the Founder and Executive Director of APEX SDG on 19th December, 2024. The event aims to enlighten the management students on the scope and significance of effective project management with the practical knowledge in today's dynamic business environment.
The esteemed expert, Mr. Sudheer Kumar (an Alumni of IIT Bombay) shared his insights on how project management serves as a crucial tool for achieving organizational goals and driving innovation. The Key aspects include, the importance of setting measurable objectives, monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes to ensure alignment of the individual efforts with the company’s goals. He also emphasizedon the importance of student’s engagement in the projects by channel partnering, expression of interest that can align them with the global sustainability objectives, providing a platform for empowering skilled professionals through project implementations and Industry Academia Collaborations.
The program highlighted on the numerous opportunities available in the project management, team work and stakeholder management including career paths in various specialisations such as Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Data Analytics. Students have gained valuable knowledge about the potential skills required to excel in their respective domains for the professional growth.
