This sloka reminds the importance of respecting and honoring women in the society. International Women's Day holds significance as it is a global celebration of achievement of women across the globe and a call to action for the theme of 2025–For all Women and Girls-Rights, Equality, Empowermentfocuses on achieving women rights, providing equality and empower them at all places.
The institution has constituted a Women’s Club Anvitha way back in 2013, with an aim to create an inclusive environment, where the women employees and students feel valued, supported, encouraged and empowered. The club organises various events and celebrates many national and International days of significance related to women empowerment. Anvitha organised various activities and competitions on this occasion to provide a platform for the women community of the institution to showcase their talents, strength and resilience. An Interactive session with Dr K Sreelatha, MD is organised to bring awareness on balanced diet and nutrition among the working women, where the medical practitioner explained the reasons for poor dietary habits among the working women and the consequences there of. She emphasised on the diet to be specifically followed by women at various ages and advised to have a balance in the intake of proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
The club also organised various fun-filled activities, where the women faculty and students have enthusiastically participated and showcased their talents. The senior faculty shared their experiences with the young ones and guided them towards having more balance in work life and family which is very essential to balance.
