From the cinematic storytelling of Mini Scope to the electrifying rhythms of dance, every event was a unique thread woven into the rich fabric of this cultural extravaganza.
The day began with Mini Scope, a short film competition that invited participants to narrate compelling stories through the powerful medium of cinema. This event was more than just a contest; it was a platform for budding filmmakers to experiment with narrative styles, visual storytelling techniques and emotional depth. The audience was captivated by the range of themes explored from poignant social messages to light-hearted tales, proving that cinema remains a universal language of human experience.
The atmosphere was charged with the infectious energy of Rhythm, the dance competition that brought together a kaleidoscope of styles and performances. From classical grace to contemporary flairand from folk beats to hip-hop moves, dancers mesmerized the crowd with their passion and flair. Adding a splash of color and whimsy was the Face Painting booth, where participants transformed faces into canvases of imagination. From intricate designs inspired by nature, mythology, and fantasy to bold, abstract expressions, face painting brought out the playful and artistic sides of attendees. Fashion took the center stage with Walk O Rock, the thrilling fashion show that was a dazzling display of glamour, confidence, and style. Participants strutted down the ramp, showcasing not only their fashion sense but also their charisma and stage presence. In a playful nod to the digital age, the Meme Creation (MCA) event brought wit and humour to the forefront. Participants crafted clever, topical memes that combined creativity with sharp social commentary and humour.
The thrill of competition continued with E-Sports Gaming (BGMI), where strategy, reflexes and teamwork were put to the ultimate test. The gaming arena buzzed with excitement as teams battled it out in intense rounds of BGMI, demonstrating their gaming skills and the ability to strategize under pressure. This event reflected the growing influence of e-sports in youth culture and provided a dynamic, interactive experience that energized the festival atmosphere.
Capturing the spirit of ANVESHANA-2K25 was the Click O Pick photography contest, where participants documented the fest’s highlights through their lenses. From candid moments of joy to dramatic performances and intricate art displays, the photographers showcased their unique perspectives and storytelling abilities. Adding an adventurous twist was the Aurora Race (Treasure Hunt), a strategic and fun-filled activity that challenged participants problem-solving skills, teamwork and quick thinking. Teams raced against the clock to decipher clues, solve puzzles and uncover hidden treasures scattered across the campus. This event was a thrilling blend of intellect, excitementand friendly competition in a lively, engaging format.
The day’s crescendo was marked by the charismatic presence of Mr. Gautam Krishna, a celebrated actor known from Bigg Boss fame. His electrifying performances ignited the crowd’s enthusiasm and added star power to the festivities. Mr. Krishna’s gracious gesture of honouring the Ramp Walk winners infused the event with glamour and excitement, creating unforgettable moments of celebration and inspiration.
As the sun set, the grand valedictory session commenced at 7 PM, bringing ANVESHANA-2K25 to a magnificent close. The event was graced by the Subject matter expert- head at Young India Skills University, Ms. Soumya Natrajan, whose words of encouragement and appreciation echoed the festival’s spirit of passion and talent. Winners and runners-up across the diverse array of events were felicitated with certificates and mementos, recognizing their dedication and excellence.
