Advanced Excel has gained popularity in the recent times and students with hands-on experience in this modules are highly preferred by the recruiters. Keeping in view the need to equip the students with hands on skills in Advanced Excel, the institution has entered into a Memorandum of Association with Magic Bus Foundation, a CSR unit of Reliance Industries Limited. The foundation conducted a Bootcamp on Advanced Excel for the students of MBA from 2-12th December, 2024.
During the inaugural, the Director, Dr Madhavi highlighted on the need to acquire more industry ready skills through such kind of training programs, workshops and bootcamps. Ms Nazia, the Technical trainer of the foundation deliberated on the significance of Advanced Excel for prospective recruitments and highlighted on the need to have hands-on skills on this highly prospective technical proficiency. The Bootcamp covered various modules like; Introduction to Excel, Worksheets, Basic Formulae, Chart Preparation, Auto Filling, Customisation, Sorting and Filter functions, Text and String Functions, Pivot Tables, Logical and Statistical Functions, Shortcut keys and other key areas of Advanced Excel. Ms. Nazia ensured active engagement through real-life examples and problem-solving tasks and provided highly interactive sessions during the Bootcamp. Hands-on sessions were provided to apply the concepts learned on a daily basis. Question and Answer sessions were provided at the end of each session to ensure high student engagement and active learning.
The valedictory session was a fitting conclusion to an enriching learning journey. Students showcased their enhanced skills and knowledge in the application of Advanced Excel and expressed their gratitude for the well-structured sessions. The Bootcamp ended on a high note, fostering enthusiasm for future applications of Advanced Excel.
