Christmas celebrations are a delightful blend of spirituality, creativity, and community spirit, bringing together students, faculty, and management in a festive atmosphere. The Cultural Club-Aroop organised Christmas celebrations on 21st December, 2024 that commenced with soulful prayers led by the students that emphasize the values of love, peace and unity that embodies the spirit of Christmas celebrations.
The air was filled with the joyful sounds of carols performed by various student groups. These melodious renditions of traditional Christmas songs encouraged participation from everyone, fostering a sense of togetherness. The carols are interspersed with a lively skit that humorously portrayed Christmas traditions, the nativity story, showcasing the acting talents of students and eliciting cheers from the audience.Dance performances added another layer of excitement to the celebrations, with students showcasing their energy and enthusiasm through vibrant routines set to popular holiday tunes. One of the most magical moments was the entry of Santa Claus, dressed in his iconic red suit who surprised everyone with the cheerful presence and distribution of chocolates and gifts, spreading joy and excitement. The celebrations culminate in a cake-cutting ceremony, where a beautifully decorated Christmas cake unveiled and shared among allsymbolizing the unity and joy.
Adding to the feather, were the Xmas tree-making competitions conducted by the Cultural Club-Aroop, to engage the students in a creative challenge, allowing them to express their artistic flair while decorating trees with ornaments and lights. Xmas tree-making competitions were held to enhance the festive atmosphere and to promote creativity, collaboration, and community spirit among the students. The X-Mas trees were judged very carefully by a panel of judges based on the criteria of creativity, usage of materials, theme coherence and aesthetic appeal. The winners were announced with great enthusiasm, receiving accolades and prizes, making their efforts a memorable part of the Christmas festivities.
