Electoral Literacy Club
Establishment
The establishment of an Electoral Awareness Cell (EAC) within educational institution is essential for promoting electoral awareness and fostering a culture of civic engagement and democratic participation. The EAC serves as a dedicated platform for organizing educational initiatives, outreach programs, and advocacy efforts to raise awareness about electoral rights, responsibilities, and processes among students, faculty, and the broader community. The institution has established the Electoral Awareness Cell in the year 2022 to create awareness on the process of elections and their significance in the democracy of India among the graduating students. The Electoral Awareness Cell plays a vital role in promoting electoral literacy, voter participation, and democratic values. Through its objectives and activities, the EAC empowers citizens to make informed decisions, exercise their electoral rights, and contribute to the strengthening of democratic governance and political accountability.
