Books are gateways to knowledge, imagination and critical thinking. They nurture empathy by allowing readers to experience different lives and viewpoints. The 38th Hyderabad Book Fair, held during 19th to 29th December 2025, was a celebration of literature, knowledge and the timeless importance of reading books, bringing together diverse book lovers, including students, authors, publishers and avid readers, creating a dynamic atmosphere.

The Literary Club, Adhyayan organized a student visit to the book fair on 29th December 2025, aimed to cultivate the habit of reading among students. The students were exposed to numerous genres and authors, broadening their horizons and sparking curiosity about different cultures, ideas, and perspectives.

The Aurorians explored wide variety of books, from fiction and non-fiction to academic and inspirational texts, showcasing the diversity of interests that books can cater to. At the fair, the message was echoed repeatedly through various sessions, interactive workshops and discussions led by experts and authors. Different genres on display at the fair catered to all age groups and interests. From thrilling mysteries and heartwarming romances to scientific treatises and historical accounts, the fair offered something for everyone. This variety helped underline that reading is not a one-size-fits-all activity but a personalized journey that can be tailored to individual tastes and needs.

The visit to the 38th Book fair was an educational experience that inspired students to become lifelong readers by understanding the efforts and creativity involved in bringing stories and knowledge to life. Around 85 students participated in the visit enthusiastically.
