ANVESHANA 2025: In Search of Excellence

Techno Cultural fests ignite innovation and leadership among graduating students, blending theory with real-world applications and challenges. They spark creativity, teamwork, and strategic thinking while connecting students with industry pioneers.

The lively campus of Aurora, Ramanthapur, was transformed into a spectacular hub of creativity, technology and culture on 29 th and 30 th of April 2025, as the much-awaited Techno Cultural Fest, “ANVESHANA 2025,” unfolded in all its grandeur. This two-day extravaganza, meticulously organized and managed by the students, was a harmonious blend of academic brilliance and cultural vibrancy, showcasing the multifaceted talents of young minds from across the city.

The college premises were adorned with colourful flowers, elegant tents and mesmerizing illuminations that lit up the campus with festive cheer. Advanced audio and video systems created an immersive atmosphere, heightening the excitement and engagement of all attendees. The event committees, comprising enthusiastic student coordinators, ensured seamless execution of the fest, reflecting their dedication and management prowess.

Inaugural Session: A Grand Beginning

The inaugural ceremony commenced with a traditional lighting of the lamp by distinguished dignitaries on the dais, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and the start of an inspiring journey. The serene atmosphere was further enriched by a soulful prayer song, setting a tone of reverence and unity.

The dais was graced by eminent personalities: Senior Professor D. Sreeramulu, Dean,Faculty of Business Management, Osmania University; Ms. Bhavani Chandolu, Company Secretary at R&A Associates and Mr. Rohith Padyal, Co-founder & Director at Gamla. They were joined by Dr. M. Madhavi, Director of Aurora’s PG Colleges, Dr. Ch. Satish Kumar, Vice-Principal, MBA and Mr. E. Devendar Rao, Vice-Principal, MCA and the Heads of the Departments.

The Director, inaugurated the session with enlightening opening remarks, highlighting the institution’s commitment to holistic education and elaborated on the purpose behind organizing the techno cultural fest “ANVESHANA 2025”. She informed the guests that the fest is organized by the students with the faculty support and attracts many students from across the twin cities and neighbouring districts which provides a platform for showcasing their talents in vivid events that are planned for two days.

The luminaries shared their personal journeys and inspiring life lessons that resonated deeply with the eager young minds.

Professor Sreeramulu lauded Aurora’s PG College for its creative approach to the techno-cultural fest, emphasizing the importance of setting clear goals and pursuing them relentlessly. He expressed pride in seeing Osmania University alumni thriving internationally, encouraging students to aim high and persevere.

Ms. Bhavani Chandolu addressed the unique dynamics of the Gen Z batch, urging students to bridge generational gaps by embracing the wisdom of industry veterans.

Mr. Rohith Padyal captivated the audience with insights into the vast entrepreneurial opportunities awaiting the graduates, motivating them to explore and innovate boldly.

The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Madhubala,Professor in Management acknowledging the support of all dignitaries, organizers, sponsors and participants.

Afternoon Extravaganza: Musical Magic and Collegiate Spirit

The afternoon session was a lively spectacle, featuring an electrifying performance by the “Team 23” movie crew and the “Band of Boys” orchestra, which enthralled the audience with their dynamic music and stage presence. The fest witnessed spirited participation from students representing a diverse array of institutions, to mention fewOsmania University PG College, Badruka PG College, St. Ann’s PG College, Avanthi PG College, Aurobindo College, CBIT, Anurag Group of Institutions, Princeton PG College, St. Pious PG College for Women, Keshav Memorial, Bhavan’s, Vivek Vardhini School of Business Management, ICFAI, CVSR, Jagruthi PG College, Aurora’s PG College,Moosarambagh and Uppal campuses, Pragathi Mahavidyalayaand Aurora Business School,Punjagutta.

The spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie was palpable as students engaged enthusiastically in a wide range of events, demonstrating both their intellectual acumen and cultural flair.

Day 1: Technical Events – A Showcase of Talent and Skill

The first day of “ANVESHANA 2025” was dedicated to technical events that tested the participants’ managerial, analytical, and creative skills through 11 diverse competitions:

  • Visionary Minds (Young Manager): A challenging event assessing students’ strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
  • Brand Recall (Ad Recall): Participants identified advertisements and arranged them in sequential order, showcasing their marketing knowledge.
  • Ad Masters (Ad Making): Creative teams crafted compelling advertisements, blending innovation with persuasive communication.
  • Trade Play (Mock Trading – Finance): A simulated trading experience that sharpened financial acumen.
  • Quiz Whiz (Business Quiz): A fast-paced quiz testing business knowledge and current affairs.
  • Tech Buzz (IT Quiz): An IT-centric quiz that pushed participants to their limits.
  • Mind Maze (Crossword): A crossword puzzle designed to challenge business terminology and concepts.
  • Presentation Masters (MCA): Participants demonstrated their presentation skills on relevant topics.
  • Code Craft (Code Breaker – MCA): A coding competition that tested programming expertise.
  • Creative Currents (Paper Presentation): Students presented research papers, highlighting innovative ideas.
  • Collage: Teams of two created thematic collages, reflecting creativity and teamwork.

Day 2: Informal Events – Celebrating Culture and Creativity

The second day brought a burst of energy with informal events that celebrated artistic expression and fun:

  • Mini Scope (Short Film): Participants showcased storytelling through short films.
  • Rhythm (Dancing): A dance competition that mesmerized the audience with vibrant performances.
  • Brand Rangoli: Artistic renditions of brand logos using traditional rangoli techniques.
  • Face Painting: Creative face art that added color and excitement.
  • Walk O Rock (Fashion Show): A dazzling display of style and confidence on the ramp.
  • Vocal Vibe (Singing): Melodious performances that captivated listeners.
  • Meme Creation (MCA): Humorous and clever meme designs reflecting contemporary themes.
  • E-Sports Gaming (BGMI – MCA): Competitive gaming battles that thrilled spectators.
  • Click O Pick: A photography contest capturing moments of the fest.
  • Aurora Race (Treasure Hunt): An adventurous and strategic treasure hunt that engaged teams in fun-filled competition.

The highlight of the day was the presence of Bigg Boss fame actor Mr. Gautam Krishna, whose captivating performances entertained and energized the crowd. He also honored the winners of the Ramp Walk event with awards, which was glamour to the fest.

Grand Valedictory Session: Celebrating Excellence and Togetherness

The valedictory session, held at 7 PM on the final day, was graced by Ms. Soumya Natrajan, a distinguished guest who applauded the participants for their enthusiasm and talent. The ceremony celebrated the spirit of competition and camaraderie as winners and runners-up of both formal and informal events received certificates and mementos.

Dr. M. Madhavi, Director of the college, congratulated all participants for their active involvement and lauded the event coordinators for their exemplary efforts in orchestrating a flawless fest. Medals and mementos were presented to the coordinators, recognizing their dedication and teamwork.
