Police Commemoration week 21.10.2025

Police are the frontliners, risking their lives to protect citizens from crime, violence and chaos. Their role transcends enforcement to building trust and connection within the community. Police Commemoration Day, observed annually on October 21st, solemnly honours the bravery and ultimate sacrifices of police personnel who serve selflessly. It recalls the valiant ten officers who lost their lives defending India's borders in 1959, setting a legacy of courage and resilience. The day reaffirms society's collective gratitude and remembrance, instilling pride and solidarity within law enforcement ranks and the public.

The NSS club demonstrated exceptional dedication in honouring the brave police force by mobilising students and faculty to actively participate in Police Commemoration Week. Recognising the importance of this solemn occasion, on 28th October took the initiative to raise awareness within the local community, spreading knowledge about the sacrifices and courageous services of police personnel. Students and faculty members engaged with residents in the streets surrounding the college, strengthening the respect and gratitude for the law enforcement officers who tirelessly protect society. As a mark of solidarity and support, the club pledged to assist the police in any capacity required, strengthening the bond between civic society and law enforcement agencies.

This proactive engagement paid tribute to fallen heroes and the serving police and reinforced the spirit of community unity and shared responsibility. The NSS club's commitment highlights the essential collaboration needed to sustain peace and security.
